First:
Using LobFile constitutes your consent to these terms of use and to our privacy policy. If you do not consent, do not use LobFile.
Keynotes:
- Do not impersonate someone else.
- Do not upload a file to LobFile if it is a virus and/or malware of any kind.
- Do not upload a file to LobFile if anyone other than yourself owns rights to it.
- Do not upload a file to LobFile if someone else owns the rights to the content you are uploading.
- Do not upload a file to LobFile if that file is not legal in the United States and/or Washington state.
If we determine you have violated any of the items on the list, do anything illegal within our jurisdiction or scope, we will: ban you, delete all your files, report you to the authorities if necessary, and/or prevent you from accessing LobFile. You are solely responsible for the contents of which you upload(ed) to this service.
Deleting your account:
You may permanently delete your account and account data (meaning your account information and all files you delivered to LobFile while using the account) at any time that LobFile is fully available and functioning by using the "Delete Account" button within the "My Account" page on LobFile while signed in to your account.
Risk and liability:
The use of LobFile is entirely at your own risk, and we do not guarantee the availability or reliability of LobFile. LobFile or associated owner(s) will not be held liable for any damages of any kind of use, misuse, or inability to use this service. LobFile reserves the right to update or change these terms and any functionalities of LobFile at any time without notice.
Your data:
Additionally, once your account has had no activity (not including files on your account being accessed via standard use) for a period of 12 months or more, we reserve the right to delete your account, account information, and all associated files and data associated with it with or without warning. "Activity" in this context may include but isn't limited to:
- Uploading a new file using the API key associated with your account.
- Successfully logging in or out of your LobFile account via the official LobFile website.
- Visiting any page on the LobFile website while signed in.
You must understand, this is a file sharing site. So there is always a possibility that any or all files you upload could be found and/or viewed by the public. However, we do intentionally make the links/urls to all files very difficult to guess and/or obtain. So if you don't share the link to a file on LobFile with anyone, it's unlikely (however possible) for anyone or anything to obtain a copy of it and its contents. If you are trying to send sensitive information/data we strongly encourage you to encrypt the file or contents you are attempting to upload and exchange the encryption keys with the appropriate parties via another method.
The data/file content you upload may be shared with third party services or tools for the purpose of classification and/or virus detection.
